The BLS Providers course teaches CPR skills for helping victims of all ages, including providing ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device with oxygen, and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction. Intended for licensed and non-licensed healthcare professionals.  Course Length:  3.5-4 hours

Is this course for me?  Please note that if you are a healthcare provider or healthcare student who requires CPR certification then this course will not fulfill your requirements.  Register for the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers course to meet your requirements.

For anyone who desires the skills to manage Cardiac and First Aid emergencies. The Heartsaver First Aid CPR/AED Online Course includes adult, child and infant CPR and teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the few minutes until professional help arrives.

There are TWO parts to the Heartsaver First Aid CPR/AED ONLINE with Skills Session course:

  1. Part 1 at your home or office: Online simulation and written test completion (0.5 to 2 hours)
  2. Part 2 at one of our regularly scheduled classes: Manikin practice and skills testing (20 - 30 minutes) 

Additional Info:

  • This is an American Heart Association course
  • You will receive your CPR card at the class
  • Your CPR card will be identical to the classroom-based CPR card with no mention of being a blended "online" course.
